"An 18-hole, adventure-style miniature-golf course descends from the third level of Mall of America’s North Garden. Golf Mountain is made of artificial rock constructed of glass-fiber-reinforced concrete like that used on the Paul Bunyan Log Chute ride. Its shape was developed from natural castings taken from a Minnesota rock quarry. Seven waterfalls and two streams, plus real trees and plants, accent the course. The designers sought the advice of several golfers to be sure of creating a course that would not only be fun but would provide a challenge to people of all ages and all levels of skill."
