DESCRIPTION:
"Imagine what it would be like to submerge yourself in another world. You're completely surrounded by the strange and interesting creatures of the deep, and you will stare at them, wondering how they can possibly exist. Of course, they will be staring right back, wondering the same thing. You will begin your journey in the Minnesota Dawn and continue on through the Minnesota cold water lakes, Mississippi River, Gulf of Mexico, and the Tropical habitats of the Barrier Reef off the coast of Belize. You will experience changes in temperature, sights, sounds, smells, and elevation as you float through a 2 1/2" thick, 7' by 7' acrylic tunnel on a moving walkway. UnderWater World offers visitors an "other worldly experince," a dry journey through the sea. The guided journey, which is approximately one hour, will take you through 1.2 million gallons of water. You will be surrounded by over 8,000 sharks, stingrays and other aquatic life. The entire journey will be narrated through headphones available in several languages."
